“The Councilman” – Jalen McKee-Rodriguez
Jalen McKee-Rodriguez serves as the councilman for the City of San Antonio District 2. Mr. McKee-Rodriguez decided to make San Antonio his home after attending the University of Texas at San Antonio. Councilman McKee-Rodriguez is the first openly gay black man to win and serve in any elected office in the state of Texas.
